23 months -- "what's that ?"
23 months - Jasper asks "whats that?" just about every few seconds.... he now says things like "I like going to playgroup", " I like judia"... It took me by surprise he picked up the shapes and said "cross", "pentagon", "bell" ! He knows all the basic shapes previously, these are the new shapes that I taught him only recently. He loves acting and dancing to the song "hokey pokey", "ring a ring a roses", "twinkle twinkle little star". He also uttered "I want help mummy close car door" and it was fun watching him use his whole body to swing the car door shut. He stacks 8 blocks. He is still very adventurous and runs extremelly fast, i have not met another kid younger or older with the same speed among all the playgroup people I know of.
His level of Cantonese is more receptive than English, but he is more expressive in English than in Cantonese. I can ask him in Cantonese to point to all the pictures or objects in the book, then in English when I point to the same set of pictures or objects he vocally named them in English (but not in Cantonese). However, when I point to the chinese word next to the object, he can read/pronounce the Chinese words. I can't figure out this one yet.
He has a bit of relapse, instead of saying "fifteen" he says "five-teen"!
Last Friday: He spilled milk on the backseat of the car and then smeared it all over the seat, I used moistured wipe to clean it and then the next day it smelt so foul... we used some washing detergent on the seat but it won't dry until a few days later because the weather has been very damp.
