30.5mths -- playing w/ word tiles

He loves to spell but still needs some help to compose words that are longer than three letters, he can make lots of three-letter words, but to spell longer words he needs help and hints, and he seems to pick out the correct letters but in the wrong sequence. eg he spells "mummy" as "mymmu" etc...
