28 months -- jasper loves to read....
He loves to read books with numbers and simple words. He can read a few simple books from cover to cover such as "follow the monsters", "where is maisy's panda", "teddy bear, teddy bear". He can just about do a 3 x 4 jigsaw puzzle on his own. Can stack a tower of 12 blocks before it collapses. Still left-handed !! He can now make the numbers 1,2,3,4 and 5 with his fingers...and can control to hold or point out individual fingers.

I forgot to mention, other than "what's that?", he likes to initiate conversation by "what's the chinese for XXX ?", he can easily ask questions like this one for everything he sees for nearly the whole morning. Sometimes he asks the question himself and says the answer.

As for toilet training, Andrew managed to get him to sit on the Pooh potty chair at will and he generated a small bucket of p. This is the first time to have something generated in the pot really. I didn't have the strength or stamina to carry his limbs like the other mums do at an early age because he was crawling or squirming around too much. And at 15kgs I can't even lift him, by the way, he is now able to climb in and out of the bath tub. I hope he can be fully toilet trained this coming summer, if not then next summer.
