Jasper - feeding, strollers

Jasper is still refusing rice and congee. I went as far as buying commercial congee from the restaurant or chinese cafe but when i tried to feed him he would stick his tongue out and scratch/scrape the bits of rice out from his tongue with his fingers(then smear it on his hair etc!). A friend of mine had suggested making a rice dough or rice pudding but it didn't work. (I tried ice-cream with rice - didnt work!) On the other hand I have just discovered he loves noodle and long spaghetti. I can easily feed him a swirl of noodle or spaghetti on a mini-fork and he takes to it and slurps in whatever hang out of his mouth even when it is down to his chin. I have managed to change his feeding schedule to 4 feeds a day just like most of my other mummy friends:

7:30am - 220ml breast milk and/or formula
11:30am - solids followed by 220ml formula
3:30pm - 220ml formula
7:30pm-8:30pm approx - solids followed by 220ml formula
My plan will be to gradually replace milk with more solids, thats if he is willing to chew and eat.

Talking about strollers, I have used and owned 3 strollers so far. My first stroller Bruin was given to me a gift and it weighted too much over 12kgs and it gave me too much back pain pushing it uphill or downhill, also, it took more than 5 mins to fold it and I could barely lift it into my car boot. So I bought a new Graco CitiSport, it was ok as my baby can lie flat or sit upright and it is relatively light only 6.5kgs. Until recently I notice the Graco is not wide enough for Jasper and it lacks leg support and almost hitting the canopy(not the glass roof!phew!) - he looks very squeezed in this Graco(will post a picture up later). So I went to buy a Combi 5.8kg stroller with a reversible handle - Jasper sleeps very comfortably in there but I can't steer this thing up or down the escalator at all or i'd lose my balance, my comment for this Combi is: fragile very unstable I feel as though the handle may snap any time. I will try to hunt for an umbrella style *layback* stroller in the next days/weeks, most likely an European or Australian made one that is designed for big kid - I won't go as far as Maclaren, most likely Volante-PocoAPoco or Love'n'care. I have tried Jasper on a few strollers in the shops but he looks like just fit snuggly in the stroller with no room to move(or grow) and he is not even one(1) yet, I guess I'll need a relatively long umbrella style..... so much for strollers today...
