converted his cot to a toddler bed

I bought a pair of wooden bed rails, I removed ONE side of the cot and replaced it with the wooden rail. Was going to replace both sides and turn the whole cot into a toddler bed but i wasn't sure how Jasper will adapt, so decided to only convert one side of the bed and leave the other side intact. The new cot rail is actually quite low, just a little higher than the mattress to prevent him from rolling out, and it is safer for him to climb in and out of the bed. Maybe I will install the other bed rail in due course. I hope he will get used to the idea very soon and i will then get a normal single bed for him.
