16.5 months

He points at and says his ABC, he is also able to fit irregular pieces into the slots of the puzzle. I got a new stroller for him to sleep in when I go out, it is my 11th stroller with air tyres and holds up to 35 kgs or 6 years. All my previous ones are either broken, wheel falling out, wheels worn down too much, difficult to steer, frame distorted or rear axle snapped near the frame - I managed to get full refund from shop for almost all of them and sold two of them for a small loss. I reckon i can write a book on strollers.

Cubby House

He also opens and closes doors all the time. Playing with the oven controls (which we have been stopping him to). He still loves to play with dirt on the ground and occasionally eats scraps when he picks up a piece of something that looks like a biscuit he would put it in his mouth. He has not had any stranger shyness or separation anxiety yet and is perfectly ok to play on his own without complains.

When he has had enough of a certain food, he would try to feed it to his mother's mouth, very funny.

16 months today

Jasper is now 16-months old. I have since lost count of how old he was. I used to meet other mothers whose babies were around 13 months to 15 months old when Jasper was less than 1 year and I thought their babies were so much older. Jasper appears to be 'younger' than most of other 16-month-old babies. I have just realised he has stopped chewing/eating books for a little while.

He says 'bye-bye' and waves his arm at the same time when someone leaves the house or when the door closes on him. He seems to have increased awareness of things and continues to understands more new words. His babblings still sound very complex and uncomprehenable, he asks for grapes and milk 'nai-nai'. He crawls up and downs stairs and manages to walk upstairs when holding onto the handrail. He also says 'mine mine'. He can fetch things when ask him to. Can climb up and down the highchair!
